Welcome to the Bear Creek Band Family! 

Instrumental music lessons take place once every 6-day cycle for 30 minutes. At the beginning of the year, students will receive their lesson day and time and will be expected to come prepared each cycle for their lesson. At each lesson, students will be required to fill out a practice chart that needs to be signed by a parent/guardian to verify minutes. Throughout the year students will participate in Band Karate and earn belts for their completion of assignments and receive stamps to earn prizes for attendance and getting practice charts signed. Students can earn extra stamps for performing in out of school concerts on their instrument!

If your child forgets their instrument, they should still come to lessons as I may have an extra instrument they can use or have them finger along on a pencil. I will be sure to help your child remember their music/instrument with reminders in their agenda but please help them to remember at home by having everything they need, prepared by the door, the night before.

Please be sure to have a name label on your child's instrument as most cases do look alike.
