On Tuesday, June 4, Elizabethtown Area High School held its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2024 at the LCBC Manheim Campus. There are a total of 320 seniors in the Class of 2024, with diplomas being awarded to 280 seniors at the year-end commencement ceremony.

Elizabethtown Area High School proudly announces the graduation of eighteen students from the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Pre-Apprenticeship program. The pre-apprenticeship program was offered in collaboration with the local Emergency Medical Services provider. During this cooperative work experience program, students developed various essential skills and knowledge areas required to become EMTs.
Seven Elizabethtown Area High School students have successfully completed the Lancaster Chamber's Discovering Paths program, a prestigious career exploration and mentoring initiative designed for high school juniors across Lancaster County. The participating students are Kendall Erdman, Makaylea Joiner, Edelewit Kedir, Djemba N'Kikwe, Taryn Pantenella, Laila Robinson, and Gavin Wertman.

Receiving recognition were Alan Acri, Logan Batche, Aubrey Powell, Mason Ridilla, Elianer Ruiz, Trenton Smith, Xsavier Vargas, Hunter Whitney, and Zachary Williams.
Mr. Ned Thilo, a local skilled stone carver, recently engaged with students from the Elizabethtown Area High School's Sculpture 1 and 2 classes. During his presentation, Mr. Thilo showcased his portfolio of work to the students, demonstrating various stone carving techniques and providing insights into the instruments he employs in his craft.
During the week of May 6-10, the leadership team of the Bear Creek School, comprised of Principal Jacques Viau, Assistant Principal Jason Kingsborough, and School Counselor Kara Baxter, took a special visit to Bainbridge and East High Street Elementary Schools. Their objective: to connect with the current second graders and lay the groundwork for their transition to Bear Creek School as they prepare to advance to third grade.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support a variety of enriching activities and resources for students and the school community.
