Second Graders Create Blankets for ECHOS Winter Shelter
Second-grade students at Bainbridge and East High Street Elementary Schools showed compassion and teamwork by creating handmade blankets for residents of the ECHOS winter shelter. The service project helped students connect learning with real-world impact while supporting individuals and families in need.
EAHS's Overwatch Team Advances to Fall PIEA Playoffs, Celebrates State Championship Honors
The Elizabethtown Area High School Overwatch team is gearing up for an exciting postseason, having secured a spot in the Fall Pennsylvania Interscholastic Esports Association (PIEA) playoffs. Earlier this season, the team finished second in the Preseason Fall Brawl tournament, earning a bid to participate in the Spring State Championship playoffs.

EASD Celebrates Teacher Jenna Love, Finalist for 2026 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year
At a special awards ceremony on Monday, December 8, 2025, the Pennsylvania Department of Education formally recognized Elizabethtown Area School District sixth-grade social studies teacher Jenna Love as one of twelve distinguished finalists in the 2026 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Program, a prestigious statewide honor coordinated through the National State Teacher of the Year initiative.
