  • E-town High student named National Merit Scholarship finalist

    Reuben Zeiset, a senior at Elizabethtown Area High School, has been named a finalist in the prestigious National Merit Scholarship program putting him one step closer to receiving a merit scholarship. Zeiset joins 15,000 other finalists from around the country in vying for a 2015 National Merit Scholarship.

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Delany Winslow and Matthew Sauder were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s Students of Month for April. Winslow and Sauder were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

  • Record Five EAHS Students Take Part In Regional Orchestra Festival

    Elizabethtown Area High School orchestra students Aaron Becker, Reuben Zeiset, Erin Marshall, Stacie Savoca and Ethan Schnieder were accepted into the prestigious PMEA Central Region State Orchestra based on successful auditions at the District level.

  • EASD to host spring concert series

    The Elizabethtown Area School District is pleased to announce its 2015 Spring Concert Series dates. The public is invited free of charge. The concert series is a way for the district’s talented student-musicians to showcase their musical talents in front of family, friends and the community at large.

  • Five E-town High School FFA Members Earn Prestigious Keystone Degrees

    Elizabethtown Area High School students Danny Doyle, Hunter Thomas, Regan Wolgemuth and Michael Yeagley, as well as 2014 graduate Cora Farley, have earned 2015 Pennsylvania Future Farmers of America (FFA) Keystone Degrees. This honor is the highest award given by the Pennsylvania FFA association.

  • EAHS celebrates FFA Week

    Elizabethtown Area High School recently joined high schools all around the country in celebrating National FFA Week. The week-long celebration was designed to help raise awareness of the importance of agriculture not only in the community but also across the state and country. FFA is the premier youth development organization for agricultural education students.

  • EAHS Orchestra to Perform Pops Concert

    The Elizabethtown Area High School Orchestra will perform its annual Pops Concert on Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m. The program will be held in the high school cafeteria with refreshments throughout the concert.

  • EAHS Forming Music Hall of Fame

    The Elizabethtown Area School District is excited to announce that is assembling a group of music-minded individuals to help in the formation of the Elizabethtown Area School District Music Hall of Fame. The committee will be tasked with taking a concept and turning it into reality by helping to develop the by-laws, nominating procedures and recognition program for the hall of fame. We are seeking to draw volunteers from all age groups and ensembles to help in the formation of this prestigious organization.

  • Girls' Bowling Team Places Second in the State

    Congratulations to the Elizabethtown Area High School girls’ bowling team for placing second at the Pennsylvania State High School Bowling Championships. Team members included Kayla Halbleib, Olivia Farwell, Brittany Ritzman, Madi Powers, Audrey Reisinger, Kaitlyn Smith, Alexis Lee and Megan Funk. The team was coached by Frank Telenko.

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Emily Swope and Dylon Orth were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s Students of Month for March. Swope and Orth were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

  • Talented singers selected to prestigious choral ensemble

    Four students from Elizabethtown Area High School were chosen to the 2015 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Region V Chorus ensemble. Selection to the prestigious group was highly competitive and based on student auditions at the District music festivals held in January.

  • EAHS students inducted into National Honor Society

    Elizabethtown Area High School recently inducted 47 students into its T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. It recognizes the outstanding students of Elizabethtown Area High School who have exhibited the four pillars of scholarship, character, leadership and service.
