    Elizabethtown Area High School senior cheerleaders Morgan Walters and Taylor Zerphey have been chosen to cheer for Pennsylvania at the 60th annual Big 33 football game.

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Kaitlyn Welch and Tyler Rae were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for April. Welch and Rae were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

    Two teams of students from Elizabethtown Area School District won first place in Pennsylvania Destination ImaginNation tournament and qualified to advance to the Global Finals to be held in Knoxville, TN later this spring.

    Ten students from Elizabethtown Area High School have met the requirements for induction into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). Local chapters of the NTHS celebrate career and technology center students for academic achievement and a commitment to learning.

    Elizabethtown Area High School students recently competed in the North Museum Science and Engineering Fair. Senior Aparna Paul took home one of the top honors when she was named senior champion for her project that tested ways to detect E. coli bacteria.

  • Elizabethtown Area High School team competes in Brain Busters Competition

    Elizabethtown Area High School’s Brain Busters team recently competed against Cedar Cliff High School in the second round of the WGAL-Welspan Brain Busters competition. Tune in to WGAL on Sunday, April 23 at 12 p.m. to find out whether the team from Elizabethtown was victorious.

  • EAHS Band to Perform Spring Concert

    The Elizabethtown Area High School band will perform its annual spring concert on Thursday, April 6 at 7 p.m. The program will be held in the high school auditorium and is open to the public free of charge.

  • EAHS Students Perform at PMEA District Band Festival

    Thee students from Elizabethtown Area High School performed at the prestigious 2017 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District Band 7 Festival. Eleventh grader Carissa Warren (French horn) and tenth graders Jared Wolf (alto saxophone) and Ryan Kruft (Euphonium) joined more than 100 other talented student musicians from central Pennsylvania at the all-star festival.

  • EAHS students named finalists in prestigious MIT Inspire Contest

    Elizabethtown Area High School senior Kathryn Shenk and sophomore Nathaniel McCloud were named finalists in the MIT INSPIRE program, a national high school research competition in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Shenk and McCloud will now vie for one of the top prizes in their respective categories in April where only the top 100 finalists are invited.
