Below is a list of links to account websites that you will use throughout your career with Elizabethtown Area School District. A brief explanation of each website is included as well as specific access information. Please contact Technology Services with any questions or concerns you may have about these resources. • Discovery Education - http://www.discoveryeducation.com Discovery Education provides engaging digital resources to schools and homes with the goal of making educators more effective, increasing student achievement, and connecting classrooms and families to a world of learning. Staff must access Discovery Education using the Firefox web browser. Username - Request a MediaNet account through IU13. They will issue you the MediaNet account username and password. Use the MediaNet username to log in to Discovery Education but use the password IU13ims. • District Email: Gmail - http://mail.etownschools.org Gmail is a web interface that allows users to access their district email from any web browser. A few features of Gmail include sending and receiving email, creating calendar events, inviting people to meetings and using notes and tasks. Username and Password - district • EASD Intranet - http://www.etownschools.org The EASD Intranet is an area on the EASD website for district staff members only and has been designed to help facilitate communication goals. The intranet also contains links to many of the district’s frequently used forms and resources as well as pertinent school and department information. Username -district username / password - use the word “changeme” (without quotes) for first time that you log in then change the password to your district password in the “Access My Info” link. • EASD EPortal - http://eportal.etownschools.org In an effort to go green, EASD has reduced paper usage by eliminating distribution of paper pay stubs. All staff members may now access their pay stubs and absence history online. Username: firstname_last name / Password: for the first time logging in, use the last four digits of your social security number. On the first log in, the My Account screen will appear for you to change your password. If you have trouble logging in to the eportal, please contact Kim Kuglar in the Human Resources Department. • eSchoolMall - http://www.eschoolmall.com eSchoolMall is a website that is used to order classroom and building supplies from the EASD warehouse. Email Sue Smith at sue_smith@etownschools.org with any questions you may have about this service. Username - district without the underscore / Password -use the word “password” (without quotes) as the first time login password and then you will be prompted to change your password. I recommend using your district password. Every 60 days you will be prompted to change your password. NCES ID: 4209120 Authentication Code: 4209120 • Google Drive/Docs for staff - http://docs.etownschools.org EASD document and spreadsheet program, powered by Google, makes it easy to create new documents or upload existing documents and share them easily in an online collaborative environment. Username and Password - district • Google Drive/Docs for students - http://docs.etownstudents.org EASD document and spreadsheet program, powered by Google, makes it easy to create new documents or upload existing documents and share them easily in an online collaborative environment. At the login screen, change the "User Type" to Student Login. Username and Password - district • IU13 - http://www.iu13.org/ IU13, one of Pennsylvania’s 29 intermediate units, assists local school districts to enhance educational opportunities by providing quality, cost-effective services. • Library Databases - http://www.etownschools.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=2314 The HS/MS IMC has an online search page (link above) that contains links to many sites that are helpful for quality online research. You do not need a username and password (unless specified) when accessing these websites from district computers. Please see the IMC librarians with any questions you may have about this service Username andPassword - district or none • My Learning Plan - http://www.mylearningplan.com/ MyLearning Plan tracks the professional development opportunities available through the district and IU13. Staff members are able to view and register for sessions in My Learning Plan and then review their participation history. Administrators approve pending registrations online. Username and Password - use your PPID number for username and password • Performance Tracker -http://etownschools-pa.perfplusk12.com/Default.asp? Performance Tracker is the student assessment tracker system under contract by the EASD. It compiles all student assessment grades into one place for Administrators, Subject Area Coordinators, Teachers and Counselors to analyze. Username and Password - district • Safari Montage - http://safari.iu13.org Safari Montage provides K-12 school districts with a solution to their visual instruction needs. It is a single interface for accessing visual resources such as Schlessinger Media, PBS, The History Channel and more. Username and Password - district • Sapphire - http://sapphire.etownschools.org EASD uses a web-based student information system and grade book called Sapphire, a product of K12 Systems. The Sapphire Gradebook is a complete grade book used to take morning homeroom attendance, create seating charts, log student grades and submit final marking period grades. Username and Password - district • Schooldude - http://www.myschoolbuilding.com Schooldude is the website that you will use to enter maintenance requests (otherwise known as work orders). Maintenance requests include items such as hanging bulletin boards, moving furniture or discarding items (after administrator approval). • Web Help Desk - http://support.etownschools.org EASD Technology Services now has a web-based ticketing system in which staff members will access to submit technology request tickets and track ticket history. Tech request items include computers that won’t work or are acting erratically, printing and scanner problems, network issues and software questions. Username and Password - district
