Welcome to the Elizabethtown Area High School Band website.
The Mission of the Elizabethtown Area High School Band Program is to have as many students as possible learn through music:
1.The personal and professional skills necessary to succeed in life.
2.The understanding of what it takes to achieve excellence.
3.The knowledge of music required to become a lifelong participant in the arts.
The large ensembles currently perform concerts and at community parades and events in the Lancaster-Lebanon County area. The music department has also represented the school with performances in Montreal, Quebec, New Orleans, LA, Boston, MA, Colonial Williamsburg, VA, Disney Magic Music Days, FL, and Myrtle Beach, SC. The choral, orchestral and band programs perform on all of these trips as a representation of the comprehensive music program at Elizabethtown Area High School. Recently, the students in the music department represented the EAHS community in the Disney Magic Music Days at Disneyworld, Orlando, FL. The EAHS Marching Band performed in the Spectromagic Parade on New Year's Eve!
